BGC London is committed to nurturing young athletes through fun, safe, and skill-building gymnastics programs. We focus on helping children develop strength, coordination, confidence, and a love for movement in a supportive and engaging environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Gymnastics Assistant Coach to join our Next Level Sports and assist coaches to conduct classes for children aged 5 to 10. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids, has a background in gymnastics or physical education, and is eager to learn and grow in a coaching environment.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in a sports or educational setting.
Previous experience coaching basic floor skills or significant gymnastics experience
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.
Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check clearance issued by local police station required.
Current First Aid & C. P. R. certification required
Key Responsibilities
Assist lead coaches during gymnastics classes and training sessions.
Help set up and take down equipment safely.
Support children in learning basic gymnastics skills and techniques.
Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement.
Monitor student behavior and assist with group management.
Communicate effectively with lead coaches, staff, and parents.
Full G Driver's License required; access to a reliable vehicle is required
Availability
Either Monday or Wednesday night
Tuesday night program is in Dorchester

Monday to Friday, Evenings and weekends when needed November 2025 - June 2026
