Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team with experience in recreational and Excel competitive program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and a desire to educate and inspire young athletes. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will play a pivotal role in developing the skills, confidence, and discipline of our gymnasts while fostering a positive and encouraging environment.

Duties



Conduct gymnastics training sessions for various skill levels, focusing on technique, strength, flexibility, and safety. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each gymnast. Educate athletes on the fundamentals of gymnastics, including proper warm-up routines and injury prevention strategies. Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help gymnasts improve their skills. Organize and lead practice sessions, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe manner. Prepare gymnasts for competitions by providing guidance on routines, mental preparation, and sportsmanship. Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and staff regarding performance and development. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and gymnastics trends to enhance training programs.

Qualifications



Previous experience as a gymnastics coach or competitor is preferred or certified by GOF. Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety protocols. Ability to swim is an advantage for certain training activities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate young athletes. Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules and athlete progress effectively. A positive attitude with a passion for working with children and youth in sports. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.74-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
