Job Overview

We are seeking a super friendly, outgoing and energetic and professional Front Desk Staff to provide exceptional customer service and support at strength and conditioning gym. Weights and Cardio.

The ideal candidate will be interested/experienced in health and fitness, responsible for greeting guests, selling and managing memberships, fielding inquiries, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a welcoming demeanor.

Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or customer service are highly valued. The Front Desk Staff plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression and maintaining efficient front-of-house operations.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures Manage phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries with professionalism using proper phone etiquette Handle cash transactions selling memberships and products accurately through POS systems and perform cashiering duties including cash handling and basic math calculations Promote programs and services through upselling and product demos to enhance guest experience Maintain organized records and take messages and appointment requests. Assist with merchandising displays and ensure the front desk area iabd gym is clean and organized Provide information about services, perform basic gym orientations to guests Support the team with administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Minor daily janitorial.

Experience

Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, or front desk roles preferred Strong communication skills in English and French preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills required Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Experience upselling and creating lasting client experience advantageous Proven organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and merchandising Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly attitude Current technical skills, fast learner with attention to detail. Ability to work alone, but also as a Team

This position will work alone or along side Customer Service Manager

Mostly fixed, but flexible schedule. Possible bonus options.

To start full training in December.

Preference given to great, positive energetic applicant, with some general fitness knowledge and willingness to learn.

(We are also hiring one permanent full-time manager trainee)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.65-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
