About Level Up Music School

Level Up Music School is one of Midtown Toronto's most vibrant and fast-growing music communities. We're currently seeking a

dedicated, full-time Guitar Teacher

to join our team and guide students of all ages to discover the joy of music, from their first song to the stage.

You're a skilled, professional musician with real teaching experience and a genuine passion for mentorship. You're a seasoned teacher who's passionate, dependable, and ready to grow with a great team You know your craft, but you also know that great teachingis about connection, patience, and progress. You're confident, but humble enough to keep learning. You understand that students thrive when their teacher leads with clarity, consistency, and care.

What You'll Bring

Proven teaching experience:

You've taught regularly, privately or at a school, and you know how to keep students inspired and accountable.

Deep musical versatility:

Pop, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Fingerpicking, and Solo/Improv. Bonus: Classical, Flamenco, or Bossa Nova experience. Ukulele and Bass.

Live performance know-how:

We organize concerts all year round, you understand stage prep, rehearsals, and how to run a smooth sound check.

A collaborative mindset:

You work well with colleagues, respect structure, and contribute positively to a shared environment.

Reliability and integrity:

This role carries real responsibility, up to 70+ students may be entrusted to you based on your skill, consistency, and professionalism.

Focus on long-term student growth and retention:

You take pride in keeping students engaged, motivated, and excited to return every week.

Schedule & Growth

Our school operates

Monday to Friday (11:00 am-9:00 pm)

and

Saturdays (10:00 am-3:00 pm)

, with Sundays off. We'll work with you to create a schedule that fits both your availability and student demand.

What We Provide

Steady student flow, we handle all marketing, registration, and billing. Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing teacher training. Ready-to-use curriculum and lesson materials (with room for your own style). Admin and scheduling support so you can focus on teaching. Consistent, year-round pay via direct deposit, even in summer. Pay: $29.50-$36.00 per hour
