Carrie'l Salon and Spa is looking for a full time Guest Service Representative.

What is that? A guest services representative is a team member that is responsible for creating a welcoming and inviting first and last impression for our guests. They play a crucial role in the experience of our guests and the relationship built with our team.

As a front-end team member, you are responsible first and foremost providing our clients with exceptional guest service from the moment the guest arrives until the moment they walk out our doors. You are responsible for educating our guests on services and retail, while sharing your love of the beauty industry. This position will give you excellent insight into the beauty industry and provide you the skills necessary to thrive within a fast-paced salon and spa environment.

A front-end team member is an essential resource for the service provides, you will report to the salon and spas Operational Manager, interacts with guests on the phone, in person and online.

Job Duties Include:

Greeting guests and preparing them for services Scheduling guest services accurately and suggesting additional service enhancements Maximizing the schedule by booking productively Closing sales and pre-booking future appointments Suggesting gift card sales to every guest Educating guests on service and products Executing standard telephone procedures using appropriate etiquette and scripting Confirming appointments Informing service providers of schedule changes and adjustments that occur in booking Resolving guest challenges in a timely, friendly manner Performing cleaning duties as assigned Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Excellent guest service, communication and organizational skills Fun, outgoing and a true love of customer service Must have the ability to multi task Goal oriented Clear communicator Team player Outgoing Must be open to evenings and Saturdays Basic computer skills Ability to work under pressure Trendy and fashion forward attire Knowledge or experience in the beauty industry is an asset
Carrie'l Salon was established in 1983 by Carrie Laskin. She is an award-winning hairstylist with over 40 years of experience and has mentored many of Edmonton best stylists and recently has been nominated for RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award presented by Women of Influence.

In 1998 the day spa movement was in full effect in Edmonton and Carrie'l renovated in an effort to provide all beauty services to our guests including facials, waxing, massage, manicures, and pedicures. The spa was extremely successful and made Carrie'l a one destination choice for all beauty services.

In 2006 Carrie'l underwent another renovation and in addition to having more space also allowed room for laser and medical esthetic services. Carrie'l is one stop full-service salon, spa and medical spa with many different professional lines that are sold to ensure our guests are able to maintain the results of their services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
