ABOUT THE ROLE





We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Guest Services Representative. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that every visitor has a positive and memorable experience at our facility. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries, and facilitating smooth operations within the facility.

The Guest Services Representative plays a vital role within our Guest Services team. This position is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service by providing assistance, addressing inquiries, educating guests on facility rules and procedures, and presenting a range of options in a friendly and courteous manner. The Representative is adept at identifying and promoting opportunities for added value and increased sales, showcasing strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to enhance the overall guest experience. Responsibilities include handling both in-person and over-the-phone program registrations, facilitating internal and external communication, managing facility admissions, and promoting membership sales.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:




Experience




Ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a team. Demonstrate problem-solving skills and judgment. Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Ability to establish and maintain respectful, cooperative, and professional relationships with colleagues and the community. Experience working with diverse demographics.

Qualifications (to be maintained as a condition of employment)




Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Basic computer skills for data entry and handling electronic transactions. WHMIS certification Satisfactory Police Criminal Records Check required.

Working Conditions




Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to sit for extended periods. Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT




Full-time, 35-40 hours a week Wage: $16.50/ hour * Defined contribution pension plan as well as a comprehensive benefits package
