The Hampton Inn by Hilton in Sudbury is looking to hire capable, caring, and eager people to work at the front desk.
Duties include:
Demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude and be committed to providing exceptional guest care through use of initiative and empowered decision making
Checking in/checking out guests in a friendly and professional manner ensuring accuracy of all information/billing
Carrying out all Guest Services and cashiering duties achieving accuracy and logical work sequence in accordance with standards laid down in hotel and brand Standards & Procedures
Promptly answering the switchboard in a friendly, caring and courteous manner and ensuring messages are recorded and promptly passed on
Taking reservations, understanding and application of yield management principles and selling techniques
Communicating with Housekeeping and Maintenance regarding the availability of rooms in order to contribute to the smooth running of the property and the satisfaction of our guests.
Responding to guest needs and ensuring special requests are dealt with or channeled through to the appropriate department
Ensuring full completion of all duties relating to the shift and a concise hand over in order to assist the smooth running of the property, effective team work and guest satisfaction
Salary is according to the current collective bargaining agreement -- position is unionized.
