Night Auditor

with relevant skills & experience that align with the company's needs. The ideal candidate offers a blend of customer service and accounting skills. The Night Auditor handles overnight front desk duties like check-ins, guest requests, and reservations, while also performing crucial financial tasks such as reconciling daily transactions, balancing cash drawers, processing payments, and generating end-of-day reports for management.

Duties

:

Check in late-arriving guests and check out early departures. Answer phones, take reservations, and handle guest inquiries, concerns, and emergencies. Provide information, make bookings and schedule wake-up calls. Respond to guests and coordinate with other departments like housekeeping and maintenance. Reconcile all daily financial transactions (cash, credit cards) and balance cash drawers. Process and verify guest payments and prepare invoices for next-day checkouts. Run end-of-day (EOD) computer functions and generate financial reports. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in accounts.

Skills:

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest requests and at time complaints.
- Strong phone etiquette and ability to effectively communicate over the phone.
