Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service in a hospitality environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
• Handle phone systems effectively, ensuring all calls are answered with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist guests with reservations, modifications, and cancellations as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
• Address guest complaints or issues promptly, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay.
• Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and customer service at all times.
Requirements
• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, including phone etiquette.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.40-$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Every Weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Vernon, BC V1T 9V2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
