We are seeking a Guest Service Specialist to be the welcoming face of La Palma Spa in Calgary. This role is vital in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience from the moment they walk through our doors. About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and friendly Guest Experience Specialist to join our team on an on-call basis. You will be the front-facing point of contact for our clients during either evenings, weekends, or when our team members are away. This role requires someone confident working independently at the front desk, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and assist clients with inquiries Book and check out clients using our scheduling and payment system - Jane app Process direct billing for insurance (direct billing experience is required) Receive, sort, and put away linens from our delivery service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area Adhere to opening and closing procedures Manage the flow of the day and support the practitioner team while on duty Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all clients

Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs without issue (linen deliveries) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Direct billing insurance experience (mandatory) Comfortable serving as the solo front desk lead during shifts Spa or wellness environment experience is an asset Remain calm while multi-tasking
