Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and responsible Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a Host/Hostess, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patrons have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with any guest inquiries.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are captured. Serve food and beverages while adhering to food safety standards. Sanitize tables, utensils, and other dining areas to maintain cleanliness. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience. Handle guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Perform basic math calculations for order totals and processing payments. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service is a must. (minimum 5 years) Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for handling transactions and order calculations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
