Lunenburg Doc Fest is seeking a motivated Customer Experience Coordinator and Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will train closely with our Executive Director, Program & Events Coordinator ,and Industry Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service to our audience, ensuring their needs and concerns are met promptly and professionally. The Customer Experience Coordinator will act as the main point of contact for our Sponsors and Festival Partners, VIPS, and special interest groups address their queries, organize on-site participation for each guest, assist with ticket sales, and oversee customer feedback. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be customer-focused, and possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills. They will have the ability to work well under pressure and have a positive attitude toward challenging situations. RESPONSIBILITES
Manage RSVPs, itineraries, transport, registration and accommodations for attending filmmakers, decision makers and other VIPs
Act as the main point of contact for handling queries and managing customer feedback
Collaborate with the festival team to ensure customer service aligns with the festival\'s brand and messaging
Scheduling arrangements for all festival guests, staff and, as needed, media
Managing administrative tasks related to customer service such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping
Knowledge of the organization and its fundraising goals
Experience with Mailchimp and Canva are assets yet not required
The Coordinator will also assist with accreditation for guests and run the Guest Service Centre, including its co-hosts and volunteers, during the Festival
Familiarity with e-commerce best practices, such as using calls to action, and tracking metrics like open rates, click rates and conversation rates are an asset yet not required
NOTE: Due to the nature of the industry this position includes some varied hours/days, evening and weekend work as required by events. The candidate will have the flexibility to work an adjusted schedule with more hours leading up to events PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
Computer skills \xe2\x80\x94 proficient with Apple Software, MS Word, Excel, digital communications applications, Google apps an asset (training provided)
Extremely organized, with time-management skills
Work under pressure and react quickly to requests as a creative problem solver
Ability to stay professional and react to difficult situations with grace
A passion for film and the arts
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
ELIGIBILITY This job is funded through the Job Creation Partnership Program of Employment. To be eligible for the position you must qualify for the program. You must be Labour Market Development Agreement (LMDA) eligible to access the Job Creation Partnership. To be LMDA eligible you must meet one of the following:
have a current Employment Insurance (EI) claim
have had an EI claim that ended within the last 60 months
have received benefits under the EI emergency response benefit within the previous 60 months
have been employed with gross insurable earnings of $2000 or higher annually, in at least 5 of the last 10 years
