Summary

"Guest Attendant" positions available and upcoming at Gifted Hands Health Services in Quinte West/Brighton/Cobourg area. Join us to provide compassionate support and essential care to residents in long-term care and assisted living environments, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents. Support medication administration under supervision. Ensure a clean and safe environment by assisting with light cleaning and sanitation. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behavior. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver personalized care. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications

Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with seniors and individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of medication administration procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Basic knowledge of safety protocols related to healthcare settings. Prior experience with dementia care is an asset. Flexibility to adapt to different resident needs and schedules.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
