Primary Responsibilities

Reporting to the Operations Manager/General Manager, Training Facilitator is responsible for providing one to one, group-based training/workshops (face to face or virtually) to attendants improving their job readiness by providing competency-based Patient Transfer training topics. including First Responder Certification. \xe2\x80\xa2 Teach, direct and give instruction to new hires on various PTS policies and procedures, including stretcher and stair chair lifting

• Driving instruction and assessment

• Complete audits per assessment or as directed by PTS Health and Safety Manager

• Ensure all attendants follow proper procedures as outlined by PTS Policies and Procedures Manual

• Provide First Responder Certification Training

• All other duties as outlined by the Health & Safety Manager

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:\xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience within Non-Urgent Patient Transfer industry

• Current Advanced First Aid & CPR Certification and EFR Certification or equivalent

• Excellent, strong proven customer service experience

• In-depth knowledge of specific working region

• Good organization and communications skills

• In-depth knowledge of Patient Transfer techniques and procedures

• Possess a clean driving

• Previous training experience an asset.

• First Responder Instructor certification and asset
