Business Planning Associates are a critical part of Google Cloud\xe2\x80\x99s alliances with Global System Integrators (GSI). GSI\xe2\x80\x99s are service-based companies that develop innovative solutions on the Google Cloud Platform, guide and accelerate customers\xe2\x80\x99 journey to the cloud, and help customers unlock new factors of differentiation through game changing technologies such as containers & microservices, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

As a part of Google\xe2\x80\x99s team for managing these GSI alliances, you will be responsible for working with the Global Alliance Managers to successfully onboard and develop the alliances. This includes supporting the execution of the joint business plans, managing demand generation initiatives, facilitating connections between sales and technical teams, driving deal progression, and cost management.

You will drive identified projects, tracking metrics, and improving processes. You will be responsible for increasing the GSI team\xe2\x80\x99s effectiveness through project coordination and support of key initiatives such as partner joint business planning, industry solution development, quarterly business reviews, as well as provide support across the partner management life-cycle. You will work with a range of stakeholders including the dedicated global Partner Development Managers, Partner Program Managers, and the Sales Operations teams at Google as well as with key GSI partner stakeholders to ensure the successful design, implementation and change management associated with any agreed project/process. You must be comfortable becoming an expert of the Google Cloud partner business as well as comfortable working with individuals at all levels of the organization, from senior managers to functional executors.

Schedule
  • Fixed schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 hrs. shift from 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time
Location
  • Candidates are advised to be within travel distance from our primary location Yonge & Eglinton.
  • Hybrid setup, working from client office (based in Toronto) and employer location (based in Toronto)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree, preferably in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Experience with hyperscale cloud computing.
  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst/program manager in enterprise sales and/or business development working with Global SIs
  • Experience in implementing go-to-market models with large Global SIs
  • Strong project management experience, with exceptional skills at handling multiple, complex projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the cloud services landscape and experience in consultation delivery with enterprise software engagements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Skills in translating data and trends into strategies and compelling messages
  • Proficiency with
and Google Workspace (specifically, spreadsheets)

Responsibilities
  • Support the development & implementation of joint business plans and go-to-market initiatives with GSIs
  • Facilitate field alignment, account planning & opportunity development
  • Support monthly & quarterly business reviews
  • Track joint sales pipeline, analyze and report progress
  • Develop and maintain executive and operational metrics dashboard for the purpose of dynamically tracking and reporting key performance metrics
  • Record win-wires and customer success stories
  • Execute strategic initiatives such as partner capability development or sales alignment events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Google Cloud - Solution Leads, Regional Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Sales Operations - for productive sales engagement
  • Work with our Product, Legal, Compliance and Enablement teams as necessary to ensure success of the GTM with our partners
  • Organize and administer the GSI team\xe2\x80\x99s communication strategy within Google, including publishing regular newsletters and customer win wires.
  • Organize and lead on-going account mapping, business development and solution mapping.
  • Support sales play execution and associated closed loop feedback progress.
  • Drive Partner Sourced Pipeline through Partner Advantage, and be on top of deal management.
  • Support execution of quarterly marketing initiatives.
  • Provide support for GSIs on various Google Cloud partner programs and offerings, including Deal Accelerator Funds, Partner Services Funds, Deal Registration, Deal Referral, and Rebates.
  • Provide order management support for end-to-end cost management, executing POs, SOWs
