POSITION NAME:

GSE Mechanic

YOUR TASKS:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various ground service equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to identify necessary repairs Conduct regular inspections to ensure that GSE is compliant with Transport Canada regulations and company policies Read and interpret diagrams for troubleshooting purposes Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities Strong team-player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

High School diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in an aviation or heavy equipment environment Minimum 2 years of GSE mechanic experience Must be proactive, a team player, professional, and dependable Must have or be able to obtain airport security clearances (RAIC, DA, AVOP) for YYZ airport Strong knowledge of Transport Canada regulations Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
