Responds to requests, prepares price quotations and proposals for domestic and international itineraries and processes bookings while considering all group specific details
Ensure client is informed of and represented in all terms and conditions before, during, and after the group air process including their pre-ticketing, policy, reporting and security procedures
Confirm, process and follow up with accounts payables and receivables to coordinate and complete the reconciliation process with Finance in order to provide customer with detailed and accurate reconciliation document
Maintains and promotes professional and courteous client relations by managing a prompt and accurate response to telephone and email communications
Accountable for entering data throughout the life of an event in the various technology tools such as Meetings, Project Management, Reservations and Time Tracking Technologies
Plan group travel effectively and efficiently through the established standards, and with meticulous attention to detail according to client provided parameters
Stay current with supplier and industry trends through attendance of team meetings and supplier onsite and offsite presentations
Works in conjunction with the Group air team to meet client defined meeting parameters and proactively escalating client, supplier or program issues to management for timely resolution
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 4 years recent working experience as Air Groups Reservation Agent
Knowledgeable in: airline terminology, codes, fare basis, airline rules and tariffs, airline passes, resource guides, books, and industry contacts
Exceptional communication skills: verbal, written, presentation and consultative skills
Current or experience working on a virtual team
Strong domestic, trans border and international travel knowledge required
The ability to work under pressure and effectively multi-task while maintaining professional rapport with customers is essential
Necessary decisive and successful problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and high-level of accuracy
Sabre experience required, AMADEUS an asset
Advanced skills in Cvent and Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) an asset
Ability to travel to client event, as required
Bilingual: French fluency is considered an asset*
Shift timings: Mon-Fri 9-5pm or 10-6pm (EST)
