Job Description


Temporary Full Time-What you will do:

  • Review case files for underwriter comments/instructions, in addition to policy specific handling notes, in an effort to draft tailored correspondence letters from a large variety of MS Word letter templates
  • Confirm accuracy of letter details (addresses, names, instructions) to prevent breaches of privacy
  • Print letters for mailing and/or email letters to external policyholders and other internal administrative departments
  • Close or pend case files in underwriting system according to underwriter comments/instructions
What you will bring:
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Experience working with MS Office products (specifically Word and Outlook)
  • Ability to quickly learn/adapt to new computer programs
  • Accurate with typing speed of (30+wpm) with high accuracy levels
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with daily deadlines
  • Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently
  • Fluency with French, verbal and written, an asset
-The base salary for this position is between $37,300.00 - $ 55,900.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
