Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to provided schematics and blueprints. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with various hand and power tools, and a strong understanding of mechanical assembly processes.

Duties

Assemble mechanical components and systems based on detailed schematics and blueprints. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and calipers to ensure precise assembly of parts. Fabricate custom components as needed to meet project specifications. Operate forklifts safely for material handling within the warehouse environment. Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Perform basic welding tasks when required for assembly projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and calipers is required. Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to safety practices and procedures is essential.

Pay: $18.48-$28.04 per hour
