Responsibilities



Provide leadership to Direct Support Professionals (i.e., implementation of person centered goals that align with Brantwood's Vision, Mission and Values and Ministry of Children Community and Social Service's transformation agenda Promote and practice positive collaboration between team members, locations and departments Develop open and responsive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Lead diverse teams of individuals to unified goals that positively contribute to Journey to Belonging Participate in the recruitment, selection and training of Direct Support Professionals and Students Develop and manage scheduling and budgets to ensure policy compliance and concerns Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures Respond independently to inquiries that are specific and require thorough knowledge of established policies and procedures Work variable shifts (days, evenings, weekends and holidays) Support the On-Call rotation by responding to emergency situations on a regular basis When required, provide personal care and direct support to people supported within the group home

Our Ideal Candidate will Possess



Post secondary Degree or Diploma in Human Services (i.e., Social Services, Developmental/Autism Services, Behavioural Supports, DSW, CYW, ECE) Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and dual diagnosis Minimum of 2 to 3 years providing leadership to teams and individuals utilizing coaching methods Experience facilitating full inclusion for people with developmental disabilities in their community Experience supporting individuals who communicate through non-verbal interactions Time management skills Valid G driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Successful Applicant will Provide



Current Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED (Level A) 3 Year Driving Abstract Pre-Employment Health Form 2 Valid Covid 19 Vaccinations Current NVCI training (preferred) Vulnerable Sector Check (no more than 3 months old)

Pay: From $68,980.89 per year
