Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fitness Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness and wellness, with the ability to inspire and motivate clients to achieve their health and fitness goals. As a Fitness Instructor, you will lead group classes, provide personal training in the class, and foster a positive environment that encourages participation and engagement.

Duties

Conduct engaging fitness classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring all participants feel included and motivated. Provide personalized training programs based on individual client assessments and fitness goals. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure safety protocols are followed during all sessions. Maintain a positive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and community among clients. Offer guidance on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices as part of overall wellness coaching. Manage class schedules effectively, ensuring timely communication with clients regarding any changes or updates. Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, demonstrating effective communication skills. Continuously assess client progress and adjust programs as needed to ensure optimal results.

Experience

Proven experience as a Fitness Instructor or similar role is preferred. Strong teaching skills with the ability to lead classes in both English and French is highly desirable; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of motivating individuals in group settings. Strong time management skills to efficiently organize class schedules and personal training sessions. A background in health sciences or fitness-related fields is an asset but not mandatory.
