Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Group Training Coach to lead group classes and inspire clients to achieve their goals.

The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment, communicates clearly, and brings positive energy to every session.

You'll deliver J17's signature group training programs--focused on strength, conditioning, and performance--while maintaining a safe and motivating training atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach group fitness sessions for adults and youth Deliver structured workouts following J17's programming standards Provide form correction, motivation, and personal feedback during classes Ensure a safe, energetic, and inclusive environment for all participants Build strong relationships with members and help track their progress Support gym operations and contribute to J17's community culture
Qualifications

Certified in Personal Training or Group Fitness (e.g., CPT, FIS, CSCS, CSEP-CPT, NCCP, etc.) Prior experience in group fitness, functional training, or athletic performance coaching Strong communication and motivational skills Passionate, energetic, and committed to helping clients improve Ability to coach diverse groups--from beginners to advanced athletes

Pay: $35.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
