Nature & Scope:

Reporting directly to the Team Lead, Fitness, the Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for providing safe, quality instruction to meet the needs of Members.

Responsibilities:

Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for members and guests Ensure a safe environment for members and guests by routinely checking any equipment and keeping areas clean and well maintained Ensure classes start on time and using approved music

Qualifications:

Criminal Reference Check (CPIC) including Vulnerable Sector Check completed not more than 120 days prior to date of hire, with results acceptable to the YMCA of Eastern Ontario Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C Current Group Fitness Instructor Certification
