As the Group Account Director, you are able to help generate ideas based on insights and your knowledge of your client's needs and the marketplace. You will organize and effectively scale dentsu Media's Key Account Management function with a focus on relationship building and client development, providing strategic direction and tactical support to account leadership. You will be a key member of the account Leadership team and play an integral role in steering the future and talent agenda for this account. You know how to manage assignments creatively and effectively, making the best use of resources within and outside the agency. You are the day-to-day lead person on the account and a key point of contact for the client.
Accountabilities:Develop and lead client development strategy and key account management process. Establish and develop client development best practices and processes. Invest time to investigate opportunities for providing better client development support. Demonstrate a knowledge of client brands, brands equity, consumer definition and motivations Articulate effective strategic rationale and logic flow. Seek lasting solutions rather than quick fixes. Train, motivate, develop and lead client service teams from across the network. Construct and deliver accurate, honest and timely performance management documents. Establish and maintain communications process with client development and agency teams. Stay on top of client business strategies and workflow to scale ideas or head off issues early

Qualifications:Post-secondary education in administration, communications, marketing, or related field. Minimum of 8 + years of experience in similar role managing national accounts, with at least 3 years in leadership role. Experience successfully bringing together people from different disciplines, internal and external to achieve desired outcomes. Ability to articulate a strategic communications plan and develop recommendations to respond to client issues and needs. Influential senior people leader with the ability to lead, coach and develop and retain top talent while addressing performance. Previous experience with support new business efforts at the Network or brand level. Ability to instill confidence and manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders. Advanced analytical skills and proficient with numbers and budgets to illustrate client business objectives. Strong negotiation, presentation and people skills. Advanced level MS Office skills: Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. Must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders

Additional information
The salary range for this position is $135k-$145k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
