Grounds Maintenance Worker
Job Description
HortPro Contracting Ltd. is seeking individuals to assist in grounds maintenance . This will be a permanent position for the right candidate. We are an established local landscape design, construction and maintenance company who have been in business for more than 20 years. This full time offers a unique opportunity for the right individual, working with all aspects of flowers, vegetables, fruit, turf grass and irrigation.
We are looking for a fulltime, motivated, trustworthy, creative individuals to join our team. Experience is an asset but not absolutely necessary for this physically demanding job requiring endurance, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to help. Must be able to work in both a team environment and unsupervised. A vehicle are required to get to and from work as there is no bus service on Carr's Landing Road. Wages start at $23 per hour.

Responsibilities
Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and planting. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance activities. Conduct regular inspections of grounds and equipment to ensure proper functioning. Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance as needed. Collaborate with team members to complete construction and gardening projects efficiently.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
