Job Description

Position Summary: As a Grounds Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and accessibility of our facilities during the winter season. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently clear snow from the parking lot and pathways, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our guests. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in adverse weather conditions. Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clear snow from the parking lot, walkways, and other designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, and other snow removal equipment.

• Apply salt, sand, or ice melt to surfaces to prevent ice buildup and maintain safe walking and driving conditions.

• Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure it operates efficiently throughout the season.

• Prioritize safety at all times, ensuring that cleared areas are free of hazards and potential accidents.

• Coordinate and communicate with the grounds maintenance team to ensure the timely and effective removal of snow.

• Document and report any equipment malfunctions, damage, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

• Work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, as dictated by weather conditions and resort needs.

• Co-operate and accept other assignments as and when required.

• Previous experience in snow removal or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work in cold, winter conditions and lift heavy loads.

• Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

• Team player with excellent communication skills.

• Valid driver\'s license and the ability to operate snow removal equipment (training may be provided).

• Physical fitness and stamina to work for extended periods in adverse weather conditions.

• Self-motivated and reliable.
