Groundsperson/ Arborist Apprentice/ Labour

As a Grounds Person you don't necessarily need a lot of experience in the arborist industry, just a great attitude and a willingness to learn! You will be working to support the operations above; you will play an important part in both site set up and assistance to both climbers and trimmers. You will play a vital role in the safe execution of work for our crew. This role will provide newcomers to the tree industry with a better understanding of what we do at Pacific Hedge.

Job Duties:

Groundwork support for trimming operations. Chainsaw , Hedge Trimming and Chipper operation/loading brush. Assist Crew leader in job- site setup, debris removal, cleanup and equipment maintenance. Abide by industry safety policies and procedures. Raking up/ leaf blowing job sites. Rigging down limbs.

All Applicants Must Have:

Steel-Toed Boots Reliable Transportation and drivers license are required.

Work Environment

This position is 100% outside. Individuals will be subject to varied weather including extreme heat and cold, and rain. Individuals are encouraged to wear layers and sunscreen when required.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
