Duties

The grounds person supports the teams of climbing arborists, including handling the branches and logs, hedge trimming, stump grinding, use of grapple loaders, driving the trucks and heavy use of chainsaws. It also involves the use of ropes and rigging, as well as tool maintenance. This is a job for strong, fit and motivated individuals.

Skills and Requirements

From recent arboriculture graduate upwards, or other relevant experience;

Willingness to work 8-hour days in difficult weather conditions;

Reliable and positive team player;

Valid driver's license and mobile phone;

Bilingualism (English and French) an asset but not required;

ISA certification or Class 3 driver's license an asset.

Season

Monday to Friday, April to December;

Statutory holidays, potential summer breaks assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

8 hour shift Monday to Friday
