Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Grocery Associate to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining store merchandising, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or cashiering are highly valued to better serve our diverse customer base.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs Operate POS systems for checkout, handle cash and card transactions accurately Restock shelves and organize products to ensure attractive merchandising displays Provide product information and answer customer inquiries using effective communication skills Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment

Skills

Understanding of Inventory management, FIFO, Fast and accurate in Stocking, Front Facing of the shelves Strong customer service skills with a focus on positive communication Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and sales transactions Organizational skills to manage stock, displays, and store cleanliness effectively Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Experience with retail sales, merchandising, POS systems, cashiering, or technical sales is a plus Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Understanding of Cigretts and Lottery is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
