The Opportunity:
We are seeking a
confident, passionate, and hands-on Grocery Store Manager
to lead one of our Toronto locations. This is an exciting opportunity for a

As Grocery Store Manager, you will
run the store like it's your own
--taking ownership of every aspect of operations, from
product quality and inventory control
to
team leadership and customer engagement
. You'll work across
all grocery retail departments
--including Grocery, Produce, Prepared Foods, Deli, Meat, Bakery, Floral, and Cash--ensuring the store operates at the highest level and exceeds customer expectations every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Run the store as your own, making strategic decisions to meet customer needs and drive business growth
Ensure exceptional store conditions--clean, organized, visually appealing, and fully stocked with in-demand, high-quality products
Lead by example on the floor, working alongside your team to set clear expectations and maintain a culture of accountability and excellence
Oversee all departments (Grocery, Produce, Prepared Foods, Deli, Meat, Bakery, Floral, and Cash), collaborating with department managers on merchandising, operations, and staffing
Maintain strict food safety and health compliance, ensuring all standards are met or exceeded
Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to optimize product availability and minimize shrink
Recruit, train, develop, and motivate team members to achieve individual and store-wide goals
Review sales, labour, and inventory data to make informed, results-driven decisions
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering loyalty and a memorable shopping experience
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in grocery or retail store management (multi-department experience strongly preferred)
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
Well-rounded operational expertise across all grocery departments--Grocery, Produce, Prepared Foods, Deli, Meat, Bakery, Floral, and Cash
Confidence and decisiveness in managing store operations with minimal head office oversight
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a sense of urgency and accountability
A customer-first mindset and passion for delivering top-tier service and product quality
