With over 1,600 points of distribution (liquor stores and food service) across BC, we are venturing boldly into the grocery retail space. The Grocery Sales Representative will act as the primary driver for our Dry Goods and Non-Alc expansion, tasked with securing new listings and growing distribution in small-to-medium grocery chains and independent retailers. While the primary focus is that of a "hunter" and closer, this role ensures long-term success for the business through hands-on merchandising, inventory forecasting, and strategic trade spend coordination.
You will build and support the first ~100 stores, establishing the standard before transitioning these accounts to our in-house liquor reps' weekly routes. This position is supported by an inside sales team to process incoming orders, allowing you to focus on growth.

Accountable for:
Accountable for driving sales growth by soliciting, onboarding, and optimizing small-to-medium sized grocery and non-liquor store retail accounts, including distribution channels.
Supporting Key Tasks
Developing sales strategies to identify and create new partnerships with grocery businesses to grow distribution points.
Conducting product presentations and tastings to secure listings on store shelves.
Collaborating with leadership on the Go-to-Market strategy and resource allocation.
Navigating listing agreements and understanding the specific requirements of grocery category managers.
Accountable for:
Accountable for account management, merchandising and inventory ensuring the product looks great, is in stock, and is moving off the shelf.
Supporting Key Tasks
Actively managing relationships with current grocery accounts to drive volume.
Merchandising Excellence: ensuring product is faced correctly, price tags are visible, and point-of-sale materials are deployed effectively.
Support in optimizing sales processes, including monitoring inventory levels and forecasting needs to avoid out-of-stocks.
Executing price promotions and trade spending plans at the store level to drive lift; with approvals from leadership.
Building and maintaining a journey plan to meet call rate objectives across the territory.
Accountable for:
Accountable for communicating internally with the sales team; plus, internal communication and data integrity-- being the "eyes and ears" in the grocery aisle to inform company strategy.
Supporting Key Tasks
Recording all account activity, wins, and losses in the company CRM and/or relevant spreadsheets.
Reporting on weekly sales and competitor activity (pricing/packaging) to help fine-tune the broader strategy.
Working with Senior Leadership to meet sales targets and stretch goals.
Reviewing forecasts and collaborating on annual sales planning to ensure supply meets demand.
Support consumer activations and events related to grocery store
Work arrangement: Offsite work week
5 days on the road connecting with accounts, with Sales / Admin integrated into each day. 40 visits a week and internal meetings in person required
