We are looking for a Grocery Representative to join us who is just as dedicated as we are in providing exceptional customer service and shares our passion.

6 - 8 hour shifts available on Thursdays and Fridays.

Some of the responsibilities of the role are, but not limited to:

Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm welcome the moment they enter the store Educate and inform customers on discounts, store promotions, product features and after-sale services Handle customer inquiries and requests in a prompt, polite and efficient manner Operate cash register and bag groceries Control inventory, informing Supervisor in case of low inventory levels Discard all expired items inline with the store's policy Efficiently stock, rotate and display product in a neat, organized and appealing manner Take all opportunities to cross-sell products, driving sales were appropriate Manage returns of merchandise, with Supervisor approval Coordinate with the Grocery Representative team to provide exceptional customer service, taking every opportunity to go above and beyond the customer's expectations Stay up to date and knowledgeable on all new products and services offered Comply with Occupational Health and Safety, food safety, and other regulatory requirements and procedures Local deliveries as required
What we are looking for:
- Previous grocery/produce experience required

- Exceptional relationship building skills

- Is a good listener and driven to educate others

- Punjabi fluency would be deemed to be an asset

- Although not required, a valid Class 5 drivers license would be preferred
