Our Lacombe Food Store is looking for a part- time Grocery Clerk to join our team.
Part-Time: 24-36 hours per week. Benefits eligible after 3 months.
This position provides benefits; if you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability requirements: Weekdays & Weekends: Mornings (6:00 am start), afternoons, and evenings (up to 9:00 pm).
Responsibilities:
- Unload grocery shipments,
- Receive, stock, and face merchandise,
- Greet customers and respond to customer questions,
- Be alert for unauthorized removal of merchandise,
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment,
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Excellent communication skills,
- Attention to detail and quality,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.),
- Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required).
