We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused

Grocery Associate

to join our team.

Job Duties:

Assist customers in the selection of grocery products and offer recommendations and product information as required. Ensure that inventory levels and product quality are maintained, and that displays are fully stocked, clean, and organized. Adhere to established procedures for rotating stock, checking for expired items, and minimizing shrinkage. Ensure accurate product pricing and signage, managing markdowns, markups, and labeling as necessary. Maintain cleanliness in the workplace, including the upkeep of work tools, warehouse areas, walk-in coolers, and displays. Comply with food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards, ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

Prior experience in retail sales or supermarkets is an advantage but not mandatory; candidates with less experience are welcome to apply as on-the-job training will be provided. Ability to stand for extended periods. Willingness to work shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays. Able to communicate in English; bilingual skills in Mandarin or Chinese are a plus. Only candidates who are legally authorized to work in Canada and available to work full-time will be considered.
