We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and a strong understanding of food safety standards. This role involves preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and safe food handling. Prior experience in restaurant kitchens, catering, or the food industry is highly valued, along with culinary expertise and menu planning skills.

Evening Shifts - 6-9 hours per shift
Must be able to work Friday/Saturday/Sunday evening shifts (Store closes at midnight)

Duties
Prepare and cook grilled items and other menu offerings according to established recipes and standards
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols
Handle food with care to ensure proper hygiene and safety standards are met
Support menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring consistency in food presentation
Manage food inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking supplies
Serve food efficiently to customers or assist in serving during catering events or special functions
Follow all health department regulations and safety procedures during food preparation and service
Requirements
Proven experience in dietary department roles, dietary aide positions, or restaurant kitchens is preferred
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and cooking techniques
Experience with menu planning, food presentation, and catering is a plus
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
Prior experience in the food service or culinary industry is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices
Must practice GOOD HYGIENE - BE CLEAN.

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
