Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong commitment to food safety, excellent cooking skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional food service to our guests. The Grill Cook will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely meal preparation and maintaining the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and safety.

Duties



Prepare and cook grilled items such as steaks, burgers, chicken, and vegetables according to restaurant recipes and standards Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presentation standards Assist in food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness of the grill station and surrounding areas in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods

Qualifications



3+ years of professional kitchen experience, with demonstrated proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and service standards in a restaurant setting. Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service, preferably in a restaurant or food industry setting Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques Strong skills in meal preparation, grilling techniques, and kitchen safety practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Experience with food industry equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens is preferred Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 10 per week
