We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items on the grill, ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures. Follow recipes and presentation specifications to maintain consistency in food quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to kitchen management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while handling food products. Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a grill or cooking role, is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality meal preparation. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals is essential.
