Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at Garage Steakhouse and Grill in Canada. This role is vital in delivering high-quality grilled dishes that align with our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook grilled items to perfection, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor food quality and portion control to maintain consistency. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines diligently. Assist in training new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and safety practices. Contribute to menu development by suggesting new grilled dishes based on seasonal ingredients. Participate in inventory management, ensuring proper stock levels of ingredients.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in a fine dining environment.

Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and food safety practices.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality. Familiarity with various cooking equipment and tools related to grilling. Culinary degree or relevant certification is an asset (preferred). Pay: $17.31-$22.00 per hour
