Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, proper food handling, and excellent serving skills to ensure our guests receive exceptional dining experiences. The Grill Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to deliver delicious meals efficiently and consistently.

Duties

Prepare and cook grilled items such as steaks, burgers, chicken, and vegetables according to restaurant standards Assist in food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and meets safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Serve dishes promptly and accurately to guests or servers Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Strong understanding of serving and meal presentation skills Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation Familiarity with the food industry regulations and proper food handling procedures Prior experience with food industry equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens is a plus Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in all aspects of work
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.10-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
