We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment. Your expertise will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. Monitor food temperatures and cooking times to ensure proper preparation and safety. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including equipment and utensils. Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal service, including marinating meats and chopping vegetables. Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service efficiently. Help train new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and food safety practices as needed.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, particularly grilling methods. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff. A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering high-quality meals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
