Duties

Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food handling and safety regulations Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety Follow all kitchen procedures for food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques, especially grilling methods Excellent serving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Familiarity with the food industry's best practices for quality control and safety Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Good organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
