Job Title: Grid Technologies Service Business Development
A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking a highly motivated, well-organized individual to join Siemens Energy's Services Business Development Team. This role is for a front-line, entrepreneurial-minded salesperson supporting the local account management team for Grid Technologies in Eastern Canada with primary base in Toronto or Montreal. Our service offering centers around the transmission substation where we maintain key components within it, the entire substation itself and our substation turnkey business too. Such Services include but are not limited to; (i) Transformer Maintenance (ii) Breaker Maintenance (iii) GIS/AIS Maintenance (iv) Long term services agreements for substation & their assets, (v) substation turnkey services for utilities, developers, and battery storage systems.
How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop account plans and initiatives within your region - targeting Hydron One, Hydro Quebec....and more.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to understand and influence efforts to support Sales activities.
  • Support leadership in the collection of voice of customer (VOC) data to help advance new product development, product upgrades/refreshes, and service offerings.
  • Help maintain and increase face-to-face activities in the field and develop, review, implement and execute business territory plans.
  • Ensure proper utilization of customer relationship management software (CRM-Salesforce)
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Science or Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct technical sales experience within the power transmission and distribution markets working with capital equipment and/or instrumentation and selling complete and diverse product portfolio of solutions
  • 5+ years of sales experience preferred
  • Consistent track record of meeting/exceeding individual and team targets
  • Proficiency in customer management (CRM) software is required (Salesforce). Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Nous frecherchons une personne tres motivee et bien organisee pour rejoindre l'equipe de developpement commercial des services de Siemens Energy. Ce poste est destine a un vendeur entrepreneurial de premiere ligne soutenant l'equipe de gestion des comptes locaux pour les technologies de reseau dans l'Est du Canada, avec une base principale a Toronto ou a Montreal. Notre offre de services se concentre sur la sous-station de transmission ou nous maintenons des composants cles, la sous-station elle-meme et notre activite de services cles en main pour les sous-stations. Ces services comprennent, mais ne se limitent pas a : (i) Maintenance des transformateurs (ii) Maintenance des disjoncteurs (iii) Maintenance GIS/AIS (iv) Accords de services a long terme pour les sous-stations et leurs actifs, (v) Services cles en main pour les services publics, les developpeurs et les systemes de stockage d'energie par batterie.

  • Developper des plans de compte et des initiatives au sein de votre region - ciblant Hydro One, Hydro Quebec... et plus encore.
  • Collaborer avec le marketing pour comprendre et influencer les efforts de soutien aux activites de vente.
  • Soutenir la direction dans la collecte de donnees sur la voix du client (VOC) pour aider a faire avancer le developpement de nouveaux produits, les mises a niveau/rafraichissements de produits et les offres de services.
  • Aider a maintenir et a augmenter les activites en face a face sur le terrain et developper, examiner, mettre en oeuvre et executer des plans de territoire commercial.
  • Assurer une utilisation appropriee du logiciel de gestion de la relation client (CRM-Salesforce).
Ce que vous apportez a l'entreprise
Diplome de baccalaureat ou experience equivalente en sciences ou en ingenierie.
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'experience directe en vente technique dans les marches de transmission et de distribution d'energie, travaillant avec des equipements de capital et/ou de l'instrumentation et vendant un portefeuille de solutions complet et diversifie.
  • 5+ annees d'experience en vente preferees.
  • Antecedents constants de respect/depassement des objectifs individuels et d'equipe.
  • Maitrise du logiciel de gestion de la relation client (CRM) est requise (Salesforce). Les candidats doivent etre legalement autorises a travailler aux Etats-Unis sans besoin d'une autorisation de travail parrainee par l'employeur actuelle ou future. Les employes de Siemens Energy avec un parrainage de visa actuel peuvent etre eligibles pour des transferts internes.
