Greenstone Gold Mines L.P. is a 60/40 joint venture partnership between Equinox Gold and Orion Mine Finance Group formed for the purpose of the joint ownership and development of the Greenstone Gold Property including the Greenstone Mine located on a historical mine site in the Geraldton-Beardmore Greenstone belt in Ontario. The Greenstone Mine is managed directly by a dynamic and experienced Owner\xe2\x80\x99s team, with an estimated $1.5 Billion investment over the three-year construction and commissioning phase, and a 14-year operating life of mine.Greenstone Mine is seeking an Excavator Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Mine Operations Supervisor, the Excavator Operator is responsible for safely and productively operating tracked excavators varying in operating weight.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Operate the excavator in a safe and efficient way in accordance with all relevant legislation, company policies and procedures.
• Perform Field Level Risk Assessments.
• Cleaning and lubricating the excavator, refilling all fluids as required.
• Complete logbooks and daily reports on safety issues and production.
• Use two-way-radio, and horn signals to communicate with other operators and ensure safety.
• Use excavators according to operating practices to excavate materials such as overburden, sand, gravel, blasted rock, and snow.
• Use excavators to scales walls, to bench and load mine haul trucks, to break rock with the rock breaker attachment when required.
• Monitor gauges, and other indicators to make ensure the excavator is working properly, report discrepancies.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

• A minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators in a mine setting
• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• Prior experience in an industrial or a mining setting is an asset
• Heavy Equipment Operator Training or pertinent experience is required
• Ontario Surface Common Core Training is an asset

• This position will be on a rotational basis based in Greenstone, Ontario.
