Duties and Responsibilities
  • To assist in maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • To handle complaints and errors of minor nature, and to refer more serious complaints to management.
  • To report out-of-stock items and any special customer request for merchandise to management.
  • To ensure that traffic areas are kept clean and orderly at all times.
  • To assist in general Greenhouse duties including watering plants, trimming plants, providing support and advice to clients, and handling any special order requests.
  • To operate a Computerized MYOB as required in order to cash out customers in prompt, professional, accurate, efficient and friendly service to customers.
  • Prepare and assist with displays either creating or changing on a regular basis.
  • To assist the customers with loading of any items purchased, plant material, pavers etc.
  • To answer incoming telephone calls in a prompt, pleasant manner.

Note: This is a Temporary Full-Time Position for the Greenhouse Season April 24th till October 31st.
If you have equipment operating experience that would be an asset, along with previous Greenhouse/ Garden Retail Center Experience. Schedule:
  • 10 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
