Job Description
The position is for a
Greenhouse Worker / Farm Labourer
working on-site in a greenhouse agricultural environment.The worker is responsible for assisting with daily greenhouse operations, including planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting vegetables and crops grown in a controlled greenhouse setting. Duties include cleaning greenhouse areas, removing plant waste, and maintaining clean and organized workspaces.
The employee is also responsible for grading and sorting vegetables based on size, quality, and condition, and assisting with crop care such as pruning and general plant maintenance.
Additional duties include assisting with soil preparation, moving plants, and supporting general greenhouse operations as needed. The work is physically demanding and requires standing, walking, bending, crouching, and repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
All work is performed on-site at the greenhouse location. There is no option for remote work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.85-$17.90 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
Work Location: In person
