Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to trucking and transportation. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck when required.

Requirements

Valid Class 3 driver license with a clean driving record. Experience in freight transportation is preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines effectively.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
