About the Role

Were looking for a

Video Motion Graphic Designer

who lives and breathes

style, taste, and creativity

. You should be just as comfortable crafting sleek animated explainers as you are designing a bold, fast-paced product teaser that could headline a tech launch event.

Youll work closely with our marketing and product teams to

bring stories to life visually

, with a clear understanding of what excites viewers in the AI/software space.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, storyboard, and produce

hype videos

, product explainers, and brand campaigns Design and animate high-quality

2D motion graphics

for social media, landing pages, and ads Collaborate with marketing to deliver assets that

drive growth and conversions

Ensure design consistency and high aesthetic standards across all projects Edit and polish footage, add sound design, and finalize for distribution when needed Keep up-to-date with visual trends, particularly in

AI, software, and tech

What Were Looking For

3-5 years of experience

in motion design, video production, or related creative roles A killer

portfolio or reel

showcasing video projects youve personally led or executed

hype videos are a must

Advanced proficiency in

Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator

Bonus: experience with Figma, 3D motion tools, or AI animation platforms Strong understanding of

narrative storytelling

and visual pacing Familiarity with the

AI/software startup world

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and creatively solve problems Excellent communication and presentation skills

Requirements

Must be legally

based in Canada

Must submit a

portfolio or reel

with your application Comfortable working in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment

Nice-to-Have

Experience with short-form ads for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Growth marketing chops understanding what performs and why Previous work on tech or startup brand launches Knowledge of AI tools for creative production (Runway, Pika, Kaiber, etc.)
