Graphic Design/Marketing/Production/Shipping & Receiving

Are you interested in gaining valuable experience and knowledge about the internal operations of a small business?

Do you have graphic design skills/experience? (We work mainly on Corel, but other platforms are quite similar).

Are you prepared to work together with our small group in all aspects of our day-to-day operations?

Promotional Wearhouse inc. is a 47-year-old Alberta company. We market promotional products, corporate apparel, and safety wear/work clothing across Canada and into the United States.

Our customer base includes corporations, organizations, government entities, special events, sports organizations etc. You would be responsible for the creation of graphics for application to promotional items and custom clothing, as well as participating in the processing of these products from beginning to end, including product mockups, ordering of embroidery, screening, and transfer products, overseeing the production of same, and shipping/receiving functions. Marketing and Social media, plus website maintenance would also be a part of the job. In other words, a bit of everything - every day is different....

We're a small team but all work together cooperatively in a positive environment....no games or politics.

Work schedule would be 32.5 hours per week - 9:00 to 4:00 Mon-Thur, and 9:00-3:00 on Fridays. (We give our staff a free paid hour Friday afternoons to kick off the weekend early). We're closed weekends and holidays, and an added bonus is free paid time off (over and above vacation time) between Christmas and New Year's.

We have an excellent subsidized Health Plan with the Chambers of Commerce (one of the best). Starting wage is $ 19.00 - 23.?75 per hour, depending on credentials. ?A valid driver's license is required, and the applicant must be physically fit, speak English fluently, and able to lift up yo 35 lbs.
