Job Description

Graphic Designer

Who Are You

You're a designer who notices when something's just a little off, and you can't rest until it's right. You've built a

strong foundation in design and are ready to take on more conceptual and technically complex work. You think

critically about how design functions across mediums--from print to interactive--and you care as much about

accessibility and performance as you do about aesthetics. You love collaborating, learning from experienced

designers, and contributing ideas that move creative forward. You're not just here to make things look good, you're

here to make them work beautifully.

Basically you...

+ have strong design and layout skills across print and digital.

+ have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable presenting your work.

+ stay calm under deadlines and solve problems with remarkable ease.

+ have meticulous attention to detail and awe-inspiring organizational skills.

+ work independently while collaborating easily with teammates at every level.

+ thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment and can handle shifting priorities.

+ are open to feedback, quick to adapt, and eager to keep learning.

+ know the importance of proofreading every single teeny-tiny thing that leaves your desk.

+ are always a step ahead, spotting what needs to be done before anyone even asks.

What You'll Do

As a graphic designer, you'll use your razor-sharp focus to consistently produce high-quality work for national and

global brands. You'll conceptualize, design, revise, and deliver creative on time and on brand. Collaboration with

designers, copywriters, developers, and marketers will be a big part of your role, and you'll often be asked to jump in

and out of projects as needed. Your manager will work closely with you, providing constructive feedback--which you

love, of course--while helping you meet deadlines and present your work both internally and externally when

required.

Essentially, you will...

+ produce innovative ideas and concepts based on existing brand guidelines, creative briefs, and client

objectives.

+ create outstanding work that showcases your design skills across both print and digital media.

+ apply AODA and accessibility standards to digital and document design.

+ build and optimize HTML email templates with clean, accessible code.

+ prepare campaign assets, creative layouts, and presentation materials, all while explaining the thinking behind

your design choices.

+ collaborate with designers, copywriters, developers, marketers, and anyone else relevant to your projects.

+ cultivate and actively contribute to a positive working environment.

+ manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively and efficiently.

+ ensure final designs are polished and meet all project specifications and quality standards.

+ stay up to date on tools, trends, and best practices to continually advance your skills.

Education And Experience

+ Degree or diploma in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent experience.

+ 3+ years of professional experience across print and digital.

+ Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, and Keynote.

+ Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.

+ Proficient in HTML email design and development, with a strong understanding of accessibility

and cross-platform rendering.

It's considered a bonus if you have...

+ Motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects).
