Job Description

Graphic Designer




The successful candidate, working within the marketing team, to provide creative support to the various business units within the company. Candidate must be experienced in creating graphics, videos, email blasts, website pages and social media assets.

Your Responsibilities:



Create Bi-Weekly Flyer for the retail business. Create assets for Social Media posts and all digital marketing campaigns and initiatives. Design website pages, email blasts, promotions and other creative assets as required. Create motion graphic designs and video assets. Provide advice and guidance on the aesthetic of campaigns, projects, and promotional events while ensuring consistency in design and content across all company platforms. Create proposals and presentations for business development using Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva or Adobe InDesign. Work on different brands and projects simultaneously while maintaining the unique brand identity of each. Work with external digital platform partners. Manage and maintain visual asset library. Stay informed of trending topics and social media trends to leverage and communicate accordingly. Be the inhouse design expert. Support other lines of business with ad hoc requests.

Skills Requirements:



Need to have:



Minimum 3-5 years' design experience. Photography and videography skills. Experience in social media marketing or content creation and editing using Adobe Creative Cloud. Demonstrated intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (image sourcing & Editing, video, content creation- Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Adobe Premium Pro). Strong communication, coordination and organizational skills.

Nice to have:



Ability to execute digital campaigns and track activity using analytics. Ability to learn new software and analytics programs as necessary. Knowledge of WordPress and other content management systems.

Other:



Portfolio and examples of work are required. Proficiently test may be required for final candidates. Travel within the GTA will be required on occasion. Access to a vehicle will be an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. 8 hours shift Monday to Friday in office at Vaughan Head Office
